This was the first presentation of the semester, in which it was revolved around the six hallmarks of cancer. There was approximately six groups and each group was assigned a hallmark. Our hallmark was invasion and metastasis. Our group did very well in articulating the relevance of our hall mark towards cancer. Our group was able to receive constructive criticism on how to improve our presentation skills.
This presentation involved our professor designating a scientific article to each group. I was able to remain in the same group as the first presentation, in which made it easier to communicate. This article was by far the hardest article to comprehend. The article entailed descriptive high intellect research, in which involved the crossbreeding of genotypes. Due to the researchers adding previous studied work, it was hard to depict what the current research was concerning.
The case study assignment was the best assignment by far, in which my group was intrigued to formulate all the acquired knowledge from the class to complete the case study. The case study attained vocabulary, research on articles, explaining the cell cycle, and diagnosis. The hardest portion of this assignment was assigning a diagnosis for the patients, in which it was critical to be confident in our answer.
